Interim Director of Music Ministry
|
River of
Grass is seeking a half-time Interim Director of Music Ministry
for one year, July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009. Duties include
leading a
spiritually and stylistically diverse Music Program in consultation
with the Minister; conducting regular choir rehearsals; accompanying
and directing the choir; planning, leading, and accompanying worship
music; and directing occasional special music programs. Our candidate
should have excellent keyboard skills, competency in choral conducting
and directing, good administrative skills, work well with
congregational & staff teams, and share River of Grass’ commitment
to an inclusive and open Music Ministry composed primarily of
volunteers, creating worshipful music in a loving and supportive
environment. Salary and benefits range according to the Unitarian
Universalist Association Fair Compensation standards.
