Circle of Light
The Circle of Light is a progressive Universalist Christian fellowship meeting monthly for prayer and conversation at a member’s home.

Covenant Groups
Covenant Groups at River of
Grass are small, intimate groups of no more than 12 individuals meeting either once or twice a month, on various mornings and nights of the week. Participants are led by their trained facilitator through curriculum based discussions designed to stimulate deep reflection, spiritual connection and personal growth.

Dinners for Eight
An opportunity to share a relaxing and conversation filled dinner with River of Grass members at a member’s home.  The host/hostess determines the evening’s menu or dinner theme, and also coordinates the participant’s contributions to the meal. The comfortable feeling of participating in a
Dinners for Eight dinner has been known to spark many long term friendships.

Full Moon Daughters
Seeking to build an intergenerational community of women and girls, to bond through a shared love of nature. We welcome the personal search for meaning through activities and spiritual fellowship that connect us with the earth and each other. We honor our Seventh Principal through our respect of the interconnected web of life.

Hospitality Hour
Would you like to host our hospitality hour one or more times during the year, perhaps on a date to honor a birthday or other important event?  The responsibilities include bringing snacks of your choice, setting up the serving tables, and greeting guests after service. The coffee is prepared by a staff member during the service, and the complete and easy instructions will be given to you in advance of your hosting date.

Men’s Group
The Men Group offers an opportunity for men to share their hopes, dreams, frustrations, resentments, anger, joy, and all other feelings in a safe and supportive environment with other men of liberal religious beliefs. It is open to all ages, as well as members and friends of River of Grass.  The group meets twice a month on the second and fourth Thursday evening.

Musicians & Choir
Whether you have a passion for music or an interest in developing your musical skills, there is a place for adults and youth to share their musical gifts at River of Grass.

Newsletter
Whether you have worked on a newsletter in the past, or you have an interest in learning how we put our newsletter together, you assistance will be welcomed.  The eye of an additional copy writer is always appreciated, as well as writers to report on what is happening in our religious community.  Have an interest in becoming the back-up editor, just let us know.

Second Sunday Lunch
River of Grass invites members and friends to lunch together after service at Sweet Tomatoes Restaurant in Plantation, on the second Sunday of every month.  You can enjoy your first course conversing with members and friends at one table, and your second course or dessert at another table.  It’s a very comfortable and causal way to get to know other people in the congregation.

Simplicity Circle
Discover how living more simply can enrich your life and build spiritual community. This open-to-all focus group uses a curriculum to guide their path and generate discussions at meetings held on the first and third Monday evening of each month.

Spiritual Art Group
The Spiritual Art group is open to members and guests interested in exploring the spiritual aspects of the visual arts through group projects, discussions and excursions. The group meets in the evening on the third Wednesday of each month.
